Your season of change is coming.

If you have been struggling due to past trauma, anxiety, depression, or any other mental health issues, please know you are not alone and there is hope! Weathering this storm can be scary and difficult, but together we can find a way through the darkness and into a brighter future.

Bluebonnets go through many seasons of hardship and pain. They withstand and endure the many harsh weather conditions that occur across Texas and they often resemble unattractive weeds for most of their life cycle. However, with toughness and perseverance, as well as care and special attention from their caretakers, they blossom and flourish into the beautiful flower that we all love and enjoy every spring. Just like the bluebonnet, life is often full of hardship and struggle, and it can feel impossible to withstand. But by taking this first step, your courage and strength can lead you out of this season of pain and grow into a new one full of joy and beauty.

Is therapy right for you?

For many people, asking for help and admitting you can’t do everything on your own can be very hard. Many try for years to work through their issues on their own but still feel stuck in their lives. But you are only human, and everyone needs a support system to help them through difficult times. Therapy can give you a safe space to share you struggles, hear new ideas from a non-biased outside perspective, and build skills that can help you create the life you want. So, if you have been feeling exhausted and stuck with the personal struggles you are experiencing, therapy can open up that door of change you’ve been looking for!

I utilize a variety of evidence based and trauma focused approaches to address my clients’ unique needs including cognitive-behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, internal family systems therapy, and many more. These treatments can be successful in allowing you to process painful memories, discover unhelpful patterns in your life, and help you develop alternative techniques that will foster change. They can also be useful in creating beneficial emotional regulation and coping skills, establish confidence and trust in yourself, and promote self-compassion and autonomy.

Together, we would create an individualized treatment plan and goals that suit your needs and promotes growth and healing. No matter the issue, it is my passion and mission to help my clients move past barriers that stand in the way of them achieving their full potential individually and in their relationships.
